 Dear Parent’s and Gaurdian’s, 



It has been another exciting week in ALP. We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in inline skating. Students have been so excited for this exciting opportunity.


Learning intentions:



  • Effective communicating (I would like _____, asking peers questions during morning meeting)

  • Celebrating others

  • Creating sentences (when given words, asked to put in order)

  • Understanding parts of a sentence (Capitals, punctuation)

  • Creating art using pastels

  • Fine motor skills

  • Learning about the different animals we have in Canada (foot prints/tracks)

  • Learning about the different bears we have in Canada and how they hibernate in the winter to stay warm

  • Regulation strategies such as our new body sock we have in the classroom

  • What makes a good friend

  • New math games 






Books of the week:








Other Reminders


Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather as we are outside everyday. This includes hats, mitts, snowpants, jacket, boots, scarf etc. Please make sure your child has a pair of indoor shoes and that all belongings are labeled with your child's name as many items look the same. We have two snacks and a lunch a day. If your child is away or will be late, please email me and let the office know if possible. Please reach out with any questions Jechaacke@cbe.ab.ca

This week, we have been focusing on re-connecting with one another and reviewing classroom rules and expectations. Dear Parents and Guardian's Happy Holidays from Room 3.  We hope with this upcoming holiday season you spend time with your family.  We have had a busy week. We spent our mornings caroling as a school, enjoyed teachings from Elder Sanda Manyfeathers and learning lots throughout the week.
